The tournament season includes as many as 15 tournaments at a variety of golf courses in New Mexico, all within a couple of hours drive from Albuquerque. NESGA tournaments are conducted according to USGA Rules of Golf, NESGA Local Rules of Golf, and the World Handicap System. The tournament entry fee includes the green fee charged by the golf course and a tournament entry fee (currently $20), which is designated by the Association for prize distribution.  The tournament green fees are usually between $59 and $84 per tournament.

 

Points awarded to the participants of each tournament are compiled by the tournament director. A year-to-date balance for each member is also kept and may be viewed here.  Every player in the tournament is awarded five points. Tournament points earned during the season may be used during the same year. 

 

The following is the tentative 2024 tournament schedule. Please check back for further updates. Once finalized and registration is opened for each of the tournaments, you will be able to click on the course name and register online. Every tournament is a shotgun start except for Paradise Hills and Inn of the Mountain Gods; the times shown for those two courses are the first tee times. The format abbreviations are as follows: SP = Individual Stroke Play, M&G = Members & Guests, 2P = Two Person, 4P = Four Person, Scr = Scramble, BB = Best Ball, and TBD = To Be Determined.
